Come join us as we welcome back the USAF Thunderbirds to the 24th annual Ron Carter Wings Over Houston Airshow! The USAF Thunderbirds will thrill you with their close formations, tight turns, and solo head-on passes.

The Thunderbirds celebrate 55 years of representing the more than 500,000 Airmen, National Guardsmen and Reservists worldwide.

This year's array of airshow talent features an impressive parade of modern civilian aerobatic and state-of-the-art military hardware. Watch the precision formation flight of the USAF Thunderbirds. Marvel at the thunderous turns of modern military fighters such as the F-18 and A-10. Thrill to the stomach-wrenching flips of aerobatic pilots with famous names like Sean Tucker, Julie Clark, and John McGillis. Witness the aerial ballet artistry of Dan Buchanan's hang-glider. Feel the ground shake as the Flash Fire jet truck races by. Meet living legends and heroes at the autograph tent. The Wings Over Houston Airshow will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 25 and 26, 2008, at Houston's Ellington Field. Gates will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for static displays. Aerial performances begin at approximately 10:00 a.m. (Flight times are subject to change.) We offer three different levels of Airshow tickets: Eagle Squadron for a "luxury" treatment, Prime View reserved seats, and economical General Admission. Purchase them in advance for greatest savings! Ticket prices and sales location information is available on our Ticket Information page.

Important Parking Notice!

Due to ongoing construction at Ellington Field, our onsite parking will be severely limited this year. For your comfort and convenience, we recommend using a Shuttle Bus from one of the area Park and Rides listed on our Getting to the Airshow page.

Security Restrictions Reminder!

Due to continued heightened FAA and DHS security restrictions, coolers, back-packs, tote bags, and large purses are not allowed at the Airshow. No knives, guns, weapons, or drugs.

All persons, vehicles and items are subject to search at the entrances by military and police security personnel. Yes, you may still bring your folding chairs and small hand carried items such as cameras and binoculars, subject to search. No tents, canopies or cooking equipment. All camera bags and baby diaper bags will be searched. Per FAA and Department of Homeland Security requirements.

Alcoholic beverages, glass bottles, coolers, and large tote bags are prohibited.

No consent is given and no authority is granted for the taking or making of any photograph, movie, or sound or video recording, for any part of the WOH Airshow, for any commercial purpose, except with the express written permission of the Airshow Executive Committee. The performers and organizations appearing at the WOH Airshow are protected by federal and state copyright laws and any use for a commercial purpose of a reproduction of their work made at any Airshow event is unauthorized and constitutes a violation of applicable law.

NO REFUNDS: If all or any portion of the Airshow is canceled due to inclement weather or for any reason beyond the control of the Executive Committee, no refunds will be given for tickets, sponsorships or vendors spaces purchased. Any monies so paid or other consideration given may be considered a tax deductible contribution to the Airshow, an IRC 501(c)(3) organization. The Airshow schedule and aircraft participating are subject to change and availability. No refunds will be given due to the failure of any acts or aircraft to appear or participate.
